Phil Landsberg and Friends

Phil began playing the trumpet at an early age. He has recorded under his own name and with many of the big name bands of the swing era, as well as with a number of Latin bands, as he is from Los Angeles originally.

He has performed in all possible venues: ballrooms, radio, TV, circus, ice shows, musicals, symphony orchestra, weddings and similar events. He was a member of the "house band" at the Hollywood Canteen.

After settling down in Dallas, he organized three groups: Phil Landsberg and Friends, The Best Litle Brass Group in Texas, and Kol HaShirim.

Phil Landsberg and Friends, 100 years of swing, is a small band playing the music of the big band era. They have for three years been performing regularly at the Arlington Senior Citizens Center, as well as several other venues from time to time.

Let Phil Landsberg and Friends make your next event a night to remember.
